Dammit

See, my son didn't go to school at all last week because he had been a fucking little shit on the bus and they kicked him off. Having no car and living fifty or so miles from where he goes to school precluded him from going to school so home he stayed.

he spent all weekend with his In Laws, which is a mixed blessing I will get into later, and then he went to bed with a smile on his face and told us he was genuinely excited about going to school this morning, which is easily believable because he loves to go to school.

Then he woke up about one this morning and it all went to shit. He was screaming about an earache, Naomi gave him some no-pain juice and he went back to bed and we thought it was just one of those things.

Woke him up this morning and his eyes are bloodshot from crying and he is wiped and holding his ear.

Which means no school for him, most likely no work for Naomi and I get to have another day of it.

I am not bitching that he is sick, these things happen and quite rarely at that.

I just wanted a day off.

The Things That Make Us Weep

Nobody can tell ya;
There's only one song worth singin'.
They may try and sell ya,
'cause it hangs them up
to see somone like you.

But you've gotta make your own kind of music
sing your own special song,
make your own kind of music even if nobody
else sing along.

So if you cannot take my hand,
and if you must be goin',
I will understand.

You're gonna be knowing
the loneliest kind of lonely.
It may be rough goin',
just to do your thing's
the hardest thing to do.

But you've gotta make your own kind of music
sing your own special song,
make your own kind of music even if nobody
else sings along.

So if you cannot take my hand,
and if you must be goin',
I will understand.

You gotta make your own kind of music
sing your own special song,
make your own kind of music even if nobody
else sings along.

Early Isn't Always Bad Is It?

So here I am again, a little after six in the morning and hours have already gone by as I sat here awake, literally staring into space, trying to see satellites move and stars twinkle until the rising sun finally obscured all but the brightest.

My youngest son is asleep on the living room floor in a way only babies can.  On his stomach with his arms and legs splayed to the side and with a look of total contentment.

My oldest is gone for the weekend with his grandparents, an event seeing as he sees them once or twice every few months.  They are not fans of me, thusly I think it spreads to them.

My sweet wife still is soundly asleep in our bed, sleeping the sleep of the blessed and sweet.  Poor baby can’t handle staying awake for a long time like I can, so i think I will let her sleep until she wakes up this morning.

I am trying to figure out how to start a rather large project for a friend, it will be easy, just rather time consuming is all.

Skype keeps blinking at me and since I haven’t ever exactly used it I have no idea what it blinking actually means.  Can anyone help me there?

I am listening to everything from Eminem to Insane Clown Posse.  Just background noise really, I am not in the mood to sit and try and pay attention to anything just yet this morning.

Later.

Tired, So Very Tired

I have this horrible habit....

See, I love to blog. i have been a blogger whore since I first started on the Internet all those years ago. i did everything from find the awesome hidden meaning in song lyrics to post the most god awful emo-goth-wannabe-suicide poetry of all time.

In the end it is just that I have a compulsive need to write.

I could sit for days and write poems and prose, essays and journal entrys, quasi-novellas and even, from time to time, a song or two that I am actually ashamed of and have hidden far in the depths of the Intarwebs where no one but i can find them and mock them horrifically.

So whatever you see here it is literally something that i thought of on the spur of the moment. Including pictures, songs and videos i find vaguely amusing in some way or another.
